"One-Of-A-Kind Meal" Platter
All images begin as original drawings on bristol board with old-school nib and ink style illustration with watercolor shading. The drawings are then scanned, processed and burned onto a screen. The screenprinting is done with special-made ceramic ink, and the images are applied onto clay slabs via a slip transfer. From there, the clay pieces are coiled and pinched into form, and finally fired with a clear crackle glaze to 2120°F.
This piece is designed with a built-in mount for wall hanging. To install, simply drill a standard flathead screw 90° into the wall. Then, hand tighten or loosen with a screwdriver to ensure the piece sits snuggly against the wall. Enjoy the versatility of this artwork as you pluck it off the wall to eat off of!
All products are microwave, dishwasher, and food-safe.
